The State police spokesman confirmed that a man had been arrested with PVCs in Abeokuta, capital of Ogun State. He however, refused to mention the name of the culprit or the number of PVCs caught in his possession.
He told Punch Newspaper over the telephone “A man was arrested in Abeokuta this afternoon for illegal possession of PVCs.”
“Sir, who is this man and how many illegal PVCs were in his possession?” One of our correspondents had asked.
But he merely replied, “I won’t reveal anything more than what I have told you.”
