I'll rather resign from politics than join APC- Aliyu

Niger State governor Babanginda Aliyu, while condemning those who defected from PDP to APC said that he would rather resign from politics entirely than defect to APC, describing those who had already done so as “suffering from poverty of integrity, morality and principle.” He encouraged PDP supporters not to ose hope on the party. Dispelling APC's allegations on the party (PDP) to rig the Niger State elections, he said it shows that they are indeed the ones trying to rig he elections and cause civil unrest.
He aslo added, “On our own side, we will abide by the rule to ensure nobody or party is cheated. The election must indeed reflect the wishes of the people.”
