Please be careful where and when you use your ATM cards guys. I hear hackers now install gadgets that can copy card details on ATM machines. You use your card innocently, but someone somewhere has cloned it and if you've got real money in your account, that is just the end. They will use your card details to buy any and everything they need over the internet. You will just be receiving alerts on your phone, watching your account balance reduce while you are at home, having nothing to do with it.
Reports from Punch Newspaper say the hackers have hit posh areas of Lagos like Victoria Island, Ikoyi, Lekki Peninsula, Phase 1 and 2. Though investigations are currently going on, people can save themselves from this by being more careful when and where they use their cards.
